Peter Solness – Night Lighting

Learn how to create some magic with your camera in this night photography workshop. Peter will show you how to get the best exposures and effects with a variety of lights and tricks. This class will be 3 parts photographic education and 1 part play.

Equipment needed: digital camera (with long exposure options), fully charged camera battery (tripod, torches, and other light sources such as sparklers/laterns/etc).

Discover some of the Secrets of this nocturnal magician On a three hour Workshop tour.

Whilst most landscape Photography is Produced in the bright light of day, peter has chosen to work after dark, in a landscape Illuminated by Nothing more than Moonlight and his Own special Illumination.

Learn how to use your digital camera. Go beyond ”automatic” and demystify all those buttons and settings so you can concentrate on creative fun and getting the images you envision!

Equipment needed: digital camera, fully charged camera battery (and a spare if possible), and plenty of space on your memory card!


Chris Gleisner – Kids Photography

1 session – $20
Sunday, 2 May, 10am-12noon

Tailored especially for children, this workshop focuses on creative expression and fun.

Equipment needed: digital camera, fully charged camera battery (and a spare if possible), and plenty of space on your memory card!

 

Anthony Browell – Pinhole Photography

1 sessions – $80 including material and 8x10inch contact print of pinhole photo.
Sunday 9 May, 2-4pm

The principals of the Pinhole camera, and the making of a photograph with the 10″ x 8″ camera and displaying Anthony’s own pinhole work, and discussing the images.

Each student will make an exposure, on film or paper, and this will be processed by Blanco Negro.

By the end of the workshop, the students should be able to make a basic pinhole camera, and understand how to use it to get interesting images.
