Neil Duncan The Works: 40 years of photography & still counting

Fri, 26/02/2010 - 00:00 - Sun, 07/03/2010 - 00:00

Neil Duncan has worked as a professional photographer for over 40 years. Starting out in Sydney, Duncan spent many years working in London, New York and South America. His formative years were spent in the fast-paced world of press photography, eventually moving into advertising and corporate work.
This exhibition will feature a selection of Duncan's early press pics, including his cracking photos of Jack Nicholson and Bette Davis, his series on the old Colgate Soap Factory in Mort Bay and a selection of work from his new art series, mounted on 1.8 m lengths of aluminium, The Ballet des Lumieres, which capture the way light is transformed into abstract colour patterns.
