8 Mile: Photographs from the margins of Port Moresby
In March 2009 Sean Davey was invited to 8 Mile Settlement in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Sean returned to 8 Mile in June, where he made a series of portraits as well as photographs of homes in the settlement. Emmanuel Onom Mel is seventeen and lives in 8 Mile. During Sean's visit Emmanuel took a passionate interest in photography and made a wonderful collection of colour photographs of his own. This exhibition will host Sean's black and white photographs along side Emmanuel's colour work. Curated by Stephen Zagala.
