We are thrilled to announce the winner of the 2020 Vision people’s choice…. Fla Rossler!

2020 Vision takes a poignant look back at the shared struggles, the collective resilience, and the complex recovery process experienced by Australian communities in NSW, featuring 20 incredible images in the exhibition and 20 more in the accompanying book.  This is a legacy to the year that was 2020.

Fla’s beautiful image of two lone performers in front of an empty audience is particularly poignant as here in NSW theatres are once again empty because of the most recent COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney. The photograph features the Stiff Gin’s performing live for the Australia Council’s First Nations Art Awards, 2020 at the Opera House. We can’t wait for theatres to the full once again, but for now, our thoughts are with everyone, including our arts community, affected by the current lockdown.

Congratulations Fla! And one lucky voter will have a stack of books, including our beautiful 2020 Vision book, coming their way.

A further congratulations to runners-up Simon Ross and Natalie Grono.
