The last six years of my life as a student and Iranian immigrant to Australia I have lived in many share houses.
Where I come from it is not common to live in a house shared with strangers. However, sometimes by choice and sometimes by necessity, I have lived in many places with different people.
Away from home I search for a place to call home. In photographing these spaces I tried to be only an observer, documenting my surroundings which were often chaotic and awkward but at times tranquil and inviting.
